Fritz’s Reaction to the Dismissal of Fritz v. Staley Ferry

myeditor4

My name was on the lawsuit, but everyone lost on March 30 th . “It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”

Joseph Stalin may not have said this, but does that make it any less true? Is it any less true if it was written by a meme maker in Indiana or Oklahoma?

I understand the motivation to win at all costs in this election because the county clerk is perhaps the most powerful elected official in county government, just as the quote above implies.

I will admit, I did not realize the power of the county clerk when I started my campaign in December 2021. What I knew was that my party needed me. When I filed this lawsuit,

I did it because voters everywhere needed me.

Now that this fight is over, I don’t know how our republic can survive. As I said throughout the campaign, I don’t see how election integrity is only a conservative issue.

If voting is not a sacred, protected right, then we can have absolutely no say in how we are governed.
